The Kingston & The Islands Green Party Electoral Strategy

Our strategy is working! We have succeeded in increasing our vote total in each of the past 6 elections, federal or provincial. In the last provincial election we attained a highest ever 8.8% of the popular vote. The next step in this process is to obtain a 10% or BETTER vote result in the federal election. The good news is that a growing Green party vote can effect political change BEFORE we elect of first M.P or M.P.P . Here is what happens when you consistently vote Green over several elections.....

	YOUR VOTE = CHANGE
	As the Green Vote grows the other Political Parties will try to slow us down (and go after our growing vote bloc) by copying our policies (The NDP and the Liberals have already started with electoral reform proposals). In effect, you are leveraging your vote for maximum effect on the entire political agenda. A small but rapidly growing political party can thus have an effect far out of proportion to their current vote support. Your vote really matters with us.

	In politics MOMENTUM is crucial. By helping us achieve the next step in our vote growth targets, you will give us critical momentum between elections and at the next election.
